Community Parks and Recreation Survey: Inform the 2024 Budget

This survey provides an opportunity for the RDOS to gauge sentiments and track feedback regarding Parks and Recreation services and amenities specific to your Electoral Area. The communities’ responses and feedback are an important step in creating a 2024 draft budget.

Each year the Regional District reviews our services in Electoral Area to ensure tax payers have an influence on the types and levels of service the Regional District provides. From cleaning of park washrooms, servicing sports courts, and faster response times, to maintenance requests, more volunteer opportunities, rec programs, one-time pop-up events, special events and partnerships that result in more opportunities for communities. In addition to reviewing the service levels, the Regional District also looks to better plan and forecast what needs to be maintained and what new builds are required for each community according to needs and trends.

Help us shape your communities future for Parks and Recreation as we strive for "Healthy Individuals and Healthy Communities".

The survey is now closed.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the survey or interviews. Your thoughts and suggestions have been used to create the final report.
