Energy Step Code - Which option do you prefer and why?

We would like your views on the three options for implementing the BC Energy Step Code that the RDOS is considering. The three-implementation options are:

  1. Early Mandatory Compliance with Energy Step Code e.g. lower step
  2. Voluntary Compliance with Energy Step Code with potential incentives
  3. Wait for the Province to adopt through Building Code in 2022
