What's Next

All of the feedback that was and will be received will now inform the "Draft Plan" that you as a community will have the opportunity to review at Open House #2.

Reminder: The Purpose

The provincial land tenure agreement for Kobau Park is soon to be up for renewal. In order to reapply effectively, the province requires a professionally formalized and community informed concept plan with a corresponding management plan. These plans will help illustrate to the province that the local government and community intend to carry forward with exemplary stewardship of the land.

This presents a unique opportunity for you as a community to provide park enhancement ideas for consideration which will then be carefully curated into a park concept plan. This concept plan can then be used to inform budget and secure additional funding sources, such as grants, that can be put toward upgrading park amenities and enhancing an already beautiful community space.
